What KIE is

KIE provides parent-selected educational courses, individualized academic instruction, curriculum guidance, progress monitoring, and portfolio support for home education and PEP families.

Flexible, structured learning designed around each student.

KIE offers educational courses and instructional activities Monday through Friday within our program hours. Families select the KIE services and learning opportunities that complement their child’s parent-directed educational program. Instruction may include individualized academic support, 45-minute one-on-one instruction, guided small-group learning, and purposeful educational activities. Program hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Families stay actively involved in educational planning and course selection.

Families stay actively involved in educational planning and course selection. Ongoing updates, quarterly progress reports, parent conferences, portfolio reviews, and an end-of-year comprehensive report keep progress visible.

Tuition & scholarships

Eligible FES-UA and PEP families may use approved Step Up For Students scholarship funds toward eligible KIE services. Scholarship eligibility, available funds, and allowable expenses are determined by Step Up For Students.
